This week an old friend of ours passed away, Christi Lanckriet of Adel Haus German Shepherds. Our sympathy goes out to her mom Beanie; kids Christian, Tristan, Aspen, Autumn, and Troy; and ex husband Garrett. For years we bred dogs together and went to regional shows and Sieger shows together. Her incredible dog Half vom Aalenbach is buried here on our farm. The picture below is a regional show where we showed Diva vom Badsee's progeny group to Johannes. My Marin in on the far left and departed this show with me to be my special dog. The second picture is of Phoenix, my mom's favorite dog. He's pictured in front of Christi's famous white fence. We spent countless hours taking dog pictures in front of that fence; she stacked dogs, I took pictures, and her kids got the dog's attention. It was a circus that worked.
