Volunteers Needed – Help PAWS Rescue, Inc. While Supporting BSU Events!

We’re looking for volunteers to represent PAWS at BSU events like football games and concerts! Volunteers help with tasks like ticket scanning or ushering—and the best part is, for every hour you work, the event company donates $16.50/hour to PAWS Rescue Inc.

BSU football games are a great starting point as we build our volunteer team and communication system.

✅ No cost to you—background checks are required but paid for by the company.
✅ Great way to support PAWS while being part of exciting local events!
✅ If we get 3 volunteers per home game, that’s nearly $2,500 raised. - With 5 volunteers per shift across 6 games, we could bring in over $4,000 for rescue animals!

Looking to get involved and help dogs? Here is a GREAT organization to get connected.

It’s a tough time in rescue right now. Never enough volunteers, fosters, or adopters. So, so many requests for help. We’re a small organization anyway, and yet, we’re drowning in pleas for assistance and overwhelmed by the sheer number of daily tasks.

Now is the time. If you’ve been wanting to get involved in animal welfare, do it today. Find your nearest org, submit your volunteer app, and get started. Dip your toes into fostering. Send $5 that you can spare. Something. Anything. It all helps.

We start each day at 7 am with on-site work. Earlier for admin. We go nonstop until the animals fall asleep at 9 pm. And then do more admin. Sleep, food, family — we juggle, we try to make time, but it’s a struggle. Every day of the year.

We need more people and more help to keep up with the demand of homeless animals. Rescues are closing doors around us because of financial strain or lack of people. All kinds of reasons, really.

Let’s work together to help more animals. Here are some specific things you can do today.

❤️ Follow other orgs online. Local suggestions: Lake Lowell Animal Rescue, stellasshelterfund, West Valley Humane Society, Pet Adoption League of Gem County Idaho, whattheflockrescue, Horse & Halo, Happy Jack Cats, Inc., Green Heart Rescue, and more.

❤️ Donate. Our org is short $8000 for current bills. We somehow need to raise that much by the weekend. Options include our Adopt An Envelope campaign for a chance to win prizes, Venmo, or mailed check. Details below.

❤️ Volunteer. We need help this Saturday from 9 am until 12 pm. Message us or email [email protected]. Or if you can give more time, apply to volunteer or foster. Links below. The waitlist for animals in need is far too long. We need more help urgently.

❤️ Share. We understand that money and time are in short supply for many families. But engaging with posts and sharing content is usually doable. Please take a moment to like, comment, and share when you see posts from the rescues and shelters around you.
