March 8-10th will be the hunt dates 4 person teams $500 80% payouts. If we weigh in 300 head it will be 100% payout. 1st - 3rd longest stringer and 1st - 3rd heaviest 5. $200 side pots for biggest sow, boar, & Barr. For more info and sponsorship opportunities call 4096732382.
Weigh ins at Winnfield fairgrounds March 9th and 10th. Early weigh ins will be Saturday upon appointment all teams must be checked in by March 10th at 1pm. Polygraph will be on site by Jenifer Smith
Uncle Earl’s Hog Hunting Classic
Rules
1. All hogs must be trailed, bayed, and caught with dogs
2. All hogs must be free range. Absolutely no pens or containments. No hogs turned loose to be caught again.
3. No machines or thermals can be used to track or catch hogs.
4. All hogs must be caught with team members dogs. No recruiting dog power as your dogs fatigue.
5. All hogs must be caught from 12:01am on Friday March 8th through 1:00pm on Sunday March 10th
6. All winners (team captain) will take a polygraph!!!
7. $500 entry 4 person teams.
8. At least one team member must have a license to transport in Louisiana.
9. Only one Barr hog counts toward the heaviest stringer but as many as you can catch count toward the longest stringer.
10. All hogs are property of the producer of the Uncle Earls Hog Hunting Classic once they arrive on the Winn Parish fairgrounds.
11. Hogs must be 40 pounds to meet stringer requirements.
12. Event will pay top 3 places in longest stringer and top three heaviest 5
13. Every hog must freely get up and walk off the trailer to be counted toward the teams totals. Hogs visibly injured will not be accepted.
14. Registration is February 1st through March 5th.
15. $200 side pots for biggest Boar, Biggest Sow, and biggest Barr. Those side pots will be winner take all.
