A nice stop at the Frontier Times Museum at Bandera. All sorts of artifacts but we enjoy the ranch and cattle history more. A little history of the barbed wire known as “the devils rope” 🤠👍

Another scenic route on US Hwy 87 from Fredericksburg to Brady (Heart of Texas). Some nice ranches along the way were Premier Ranch (est 1872), Lindsay Ranch (est 1858), and Staten Creek Ranch. 🤠 👍

A must stop along the western cattle trail is at the “Cowboy capital of the world”. Yep that’s Bandera. 🤠👍

Another scenic route on TX Hwy 173 from Kerrville to Bandera. Some nice ranches along the way were Rattlesnake Springs Ranch, 50/50 Ranch, and Wehmeyer Ranch. Can’t pass up on some Texas longhorns. 🤠🤘👍

A night stay in Kerrville at the YO Ranch Hotel. Nice old rustic place with good breakfast to start another day on the road trip. 🤠👍

Made it to 6666 (Four Sixes) Ranch. A must stop for one of the top Texas Ranches. Didn’t make the limited tour but got some kool pics and of course souvenirs. One top Texas Ranch down in our books. 🤠👍

The scenic Texas State Highway 16 route from Freer through Tilden to Jourdanton. Several nice ranches along the way include San Jose Ranch, Bracken Arrowhead Ranch, Arrow Head Ranch, and Anthony Arrowhead Ranch. The oldest ranches on this route were Nichols Ranch (est 1879) and Lowe Ranch (est 1858).
