Shout out time!

If you have been to Calhoun to visit us, you know how unique of an experience is to visit our County! If you haven’t no better time than now!

My daughter is working all weekend at a restaurant on the river, Pirates of the Mississippi, and would love to have you come try something new.

Personally I love the pork fritters, their wings, their fries, the potato tornado and really all of the drinks!

They have a perfect view to go with the amazing atmosphere!

Got stuff happening this weekend, never fear I think they are staying open through the end of October! It’s a place you won’t want to miss!

BIG BONUS! They allow dogs on their deck and they get a bucket of water!

PUPdate!

Hi Bonnie. We want to give you an update on our beautiful girl, Sydney. She is growing more everyday. She weighed 16.8 lbs. at the Vet’s office Monday when she had her second round of boosters. Yesterday (Tuesday) she met her trainer who thought she was doing very well. She starts polite puppy class July 20th for 4 weeks. She will work with the trainer once a week for 6 weeks. She knows commands, responds to her name, and lets us know when she needs to go out (a few bumps but not many). She sleeps all night and seems very content. And our building is crazy about her as well as the south loop. She has a little golden girl friend who was born a day after Sydney. We call them the Golden girls. Thanks again for our sweet girl. We know Payton is watching over her.
