This is why I truly love my job, animals know their people, their other animal friends, and their favorite dog walker and sitters. They feel great emotional ties to them and the routines that get created. It gives them safety and happiness. I create bonds with my lil pups and kitties and treat them as if they are my own. It’s so rewarding to see the happiness they have when they see me, especially after a length of time. They never forget 🦴🐾🫶🏽

A Golden Retriever named Lincoln left the internet in pieces after security footage showed him sitting sadly as the very last dog waiting at daycare 🐶💔, turning an ordinary pickup delay into a powerful emotional moment.

The video shows three-year-old Lincoln hanging his head as his friends are collected one by one, while a kind staff member gently hugs him to offer comfort. His owner was running late due to a phone call and arrived later than usual, leaving Lincoln confused and visibly heartbroken as closing time approached.

Thankfully, the story had a happy ending. Lincoln quickly forgave his owner, enjoyed extra treats on the way out, and was spoiled with a pup cup the next day. The moment has been widely praised as a reminder of how deeply dogs feel routine, attachment, and love.
