Atlas, Leslie’s newly adopted pup, is doing so well with his new pack and totally loves a water hose or sprinkler. Look at him having sooo much fun!!😁

Atlas is a very special boy who has had a harsh start to life . Atlas, who has been adopted by trainer Leslie, is coming along great with learning to trust humans and to swim. Swimming is a great way to help him gently exercise his legs which were riddled with bullets before. Unfortunately, he was shot as a young boy but is now a confident guy with Leslie. He was nervous to get off the ramp into the water the first few tries, but then gave it a try and loved it! He even started jumping off the ramp for a toy! He began to swim on his own, dunked his head under water to grab his leash, and lead himself to the ramp. He’s such a sweet, smart boy! 😍

IMPORTANT: Directly after exercise or heat exposure, allow your dog to cool down and stop panting before giving water, and give small amounts at a time to avoid life-threatening bloat!
