.
Caroline is home.
She spent the last two months in heartworm treatment — strict rest, short hand walks, no running, no playing. That’s a lot of quiet time to get to know a dog.
Turns out her foster family knows her pretty well by now. Well enough to keep her. Her foster family adopted her, and she’ll be living on a horse farm just outside Memphis.
Some of you will remember when Caroline first came to us last June — she’d been shot, and the damage means she can’t wag her tail anymore. She’s been through more than any dog should, and now she gets to come home for good.
And a big thank you to her advocate patron, who covered all of her medical bills. Caroline says thank you too! 💗
