One year ago, a brave momma dog named Calliope came into our rescue with her precious puppies in tow. Like so many others, she had known uncertainty and struggle but her gentle spirit never wavered. Calliope quickly won over our hearts, especially her amazing foster mom Carolyn, who gave her the safety, love, and care she so deeply deserved.
Fast forward to today: Calliope, now known as Fern, is living her absolute best life! She’s halfway through an epic cross-country road trip with her forever family, bringing joy to everyone she meets and soaking in every adventure with a wagging tail. From lakes and mountains to trails and tents, Fern is the picture of a happy, well-loved dog and it all started with rescue.

These are the moments that keep us going. The mommas, in particular, have always been at the heart of our mission. Their resilience, loyalty, and love are unmatched and when we see them not just survive but thrive, it reminds us why we do what we do.

Thank you to Carolyn and all our incredible fosters who help us write these happy endings. 💜

Happy Monday morning from the “Bear Hug Bunch”
Four precious orphaned pups—Rory, Rosie, Reba, and Risa—found comfort in each other (and a few oversized stuffed animals 💕) after losing their mama too soon. Despite their rough start, they are thriving with lots of love, cuddles, and puppy snuggles.
Rory and Rosie are the softest cream puffs you’ll ever meet, while Reba and Risa bring the s***k and spice with their expressive eyes and playful paws. Together, they’re healing, growing, and getting ready for the next chapter—finding forever homes!

Meet Granite, a gorgeous 9-week-old boy and one of JoLee’s stunning pups! Weighing in at 8 lbs, Granite is a confident cutie with a soft heart and a playful spirit.
He’s the perfect mix of sweet and s***ky — happy to romp around with her siblings or settle in close for some cuddle time. Granite loves meeting new people and is already winning hearts everywhere she goes. 💫

With mama JoLee being just 14 lbs, we expect Granite to stay on the smaller side of medium, but as with all mixed-breed rescue pups, there’s always a bit of mystery in the mix.

Granite will be ready for adoption soon, and he’s looking for a forever home where he can grow up surrounded by love, toys, and belly rubs. 🐾

This little darling is Gemma, a 9-week-old pup weighing just 6 lbs and overflowing with sweetness. She’s one of JoLee’s precious pups, and while she may be small, she’s got a big, bubbly personality that shines!
Gemma is fun, friendly, and loves to explore. Whether she’s playing with her siblings, snuggling up for a nap, or greeting new people with tail wags and puppy kisses, Gemma is always ready to bring joy.

With mama JoLee being just 14 lbs, we anticipate Gemma will stay on the smaller side of medium – though as with all rescue pups, her final size is a best guess.

She’ll be ready to go home very soon, and she’s dreaming of a forever family to call her own! 🐶💕

This handsome heartbreaker is Gambit, a 9-week-old pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Weighing in at 8.5 lbs, he’s the largest of the litter—but don’t let that fool you, he’s still all puppy: playful, affectionate, and full of goofy charm!
Gambit is one of JoLee’s pups (mama is just 14 lbs!), so while he may grow a little bigger than his siblings, we still expect him to stay on the smaller side of medium – though with rescue pups, there’s always room for a surprise or two! 🐶

He’s great with other dogs, loves people, and is always ready for a new adventure. Gambit will be ready for his forever home very soon, and he can’t wait to find a family to grow up with!

I mean seriously what can be cuter than sleeping, full, safe and so loved little pups. They had a rough start after being orphaned when they were days old when their momma was poisoned and died😭💔 but in honor of their mom we promise to love them and commit to getting them the best homes. This little warrior has come so far. 💪 Indie survived a heartbreaking start to life — orphaned at just a few days old with serious injuries. But thanks to love, care, and her fighting spirit, she’s thriving. 💖

Now almost 8 weeks old, Indie is sweet, social, and absolutely adorable! She loves kids, cats, and other dogs — and she’ll be ready for her forever home in just a couple of weeks. 🏡
