Burm clutch #5 for the year is currently being laid! I've had a long day so I'll be back tomorrow to pull these precious pearls. Won't say too much just yet but this is gonna be a clutch for my Lab lovers out there 😉

Noticed a bit of scale spread on this girl today 🤔 first attempt at breeding this species this year. Haven't observed any locks, but I'm hoping they've been up to something sneaky 🤞🏽😂

Checked the cameras this morning to see something amazing! First clutch burm clutch of 2025 is on the ground. I don't often repeat pairings but I think this one was worth it. Triple het albino granite pied × triple het albino granite pied.

Predictions for 2025! I believe this girl should be the next to drop eggs. All the signs are starting to line up she went from having no interest at all breeding about a month ago to locking up with a male suddenly refusing food and is starting to look pretty thicc 🤰

Little bit of a long overdue update. Back in 2022 I hatched what I've been calling my "weirdo" goldeneye blood python (left in 1st picture) she was a runt and twin when she hatched and had one of the strangest patterns I've ever seen on a Goldeneye. Fast forward now she's still a "weirdo" and her colors are starting to pop! Last year I produced another "weirdo" goldeneye eye from the same sire (right in first picture) this time the "weirdo" has a strange speckled look and really pale color I've not seen on any other goldeneye. Genetically speaking these girls should be the same just Goldeneye 66% het T+ but obviously look nothing a like. No idea how genetic or reproducible this is just yet but this "weirdo" project could be pretty cool.
