🤩 Pupdate: Cleo!! 🤩

Cleo has been working on her “good girl skills” and it SHOWS. Her foster has told us she has been working on her patience on leash walks and playing nicely with other dogs. She is even trying out daycare soon! In fact, she has done so well we are officially awarding her the title of dog friendly! 🐶🏆🤩 Go Cleo!

Cleo loves to play fetch or chase a ball, but her foster says she has one activity that is her favorite of all: rolling. She will roll and slide down hills, and even climb up onto furniture and laps just so she can roll off. But when Cleo crashes, she crashes hard too. Her foster has told us her snoring can even drown out the TV! 📺 😴

Cleo is continuing to work on her daily structured leash walks to help get over her fear of cars and big trucks. We think she would do best in a quiet home with minimal traffic around, or with a family willing to continue to work with her to get over her fears. We just know that the perfect home for Cleo is out there, and we want to find someone who thinks her personality is as hilarious and charming as we do! ❗️Newbie Alert: TIMOTHY

It’s certainly been a busy week for Streetdog!

A few weeks ago, this precious little guy was out by himself, wandering the grounds of an elementary school in town. Luckily, he was taken in by a kind family who have cared for him and kept him safe for the past few weeks while he got back on his paws.

In that time, he’s already had his first set of vaccinations, been started on preventatives, and received dewormer. He’s off to a great healthy start!

He is around 4 months old, currently weighs about 19 lbs, and has shown himself to be incredibly friendly with both kids and other dogs. While he hasn’t had the chance to meet any cats yet, his young age and loving temperament suggest he’d likely adjust well with proper introductions.

Timothy is playful, social, and ready to find his forever home where he can keep growing up surrounded by love.

Congratulations to Flash & Brady! ❤️

Flash and Brady arrived together with two other dogs from a shelter in Mississippi after their owner entered hospice care and could no longer look after them. Through so much change, these two boys stayed by each other's side.

Earlier this year, their adopter experienced a devastating house fire and lost their home. While searching for a new companion, they came across photos of Flash and Brady and immediately felt there was something special about them.

When we shared the dogs' story and mentioned that they had come from Columbus, Mississippi, everything seemed to fall into place. The adopter's late wife was born and raised in Columbus, Mississippi, and in that moment, they felt certain she had somehow handpicked these boys just for them.

Some connections are simply meant to be.
Congratulations to Flash and Brady on finding a loving home together, and congratulations to their adopter on welcoming two very special companions into their life. We wish this family many happy years ahead. 🐾❤️

Congratulations to Missy! ❤️🐾

Missy's story began during the February ice storm, when she was found by Loyal Guardian Foundation. Despite the cold and uncertainty she faced, Missy never lost her sweet spirit.

At just 2 years old, Missy is the definition of easygoing. She's the epitome of chill, happy to go with the flow, and never turns down a good belly rub. Whether she's relaxing by your side or soaking up attention, Missy knows how to enjoy the simple things in life.

Today, Missy is living her best life with her wonderful mom and her feline sibling. She has traded icy days for warm cuddles, comfort, and a family who adores her.
Congratulations, Missy! We are so happy you've found the loving home you deserve. ❤️

🚨NEWBIE ALERT: Billy Bones

Funny story… one of our future adopters (stay tuned 👀) took Dash to the vet and somehow came home with two dogs. Thankfully, she agreed to foster Billy while he searches for his forever home!

Billy is a 10-month-old sweetheart who is heartworm negative, healthy, and full of puppy energy. He loves playing with other dogs, exploring, learning new things, and then curling up on the couch for snuggles.

He’s doing great with house training, walks nicely on a leash, knows a few basic commands, and is incredibly food motivated. He’s also never met a stranger and has been nothing but sweet with every person and dog he’s encountered.

If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate young dog, Billy might just be your guy. 🐾

💚FELIX PUPDATE 💚this sweet old man is adjusting to life off the streets in his foster home and doing great! He loves his outside time but also loves the fluffy dog bed life too!

He’s still VERY underweight and will need to gain some lbs but he’s otherwise healthy and available for adoption! Dog, kid, and cat friendly! ♥️ Curmudgeon grandpa vibes but in the best way 🫶

NAME UPDATE! MILES THOMAS 🫶 VOTING IS CLOSED and after tallying IG and FB votes our sweet boy Miles thanks everyone for voting on such a great name!

We are blown away by all the amazing name suggestions for this sweet boy! After reading through hundreds of comments, we narrowed it down to the top four names (excluding any we’ve used before):

🐾 Miles (with the middle name Thomas) — for the many hard miles behind him and all the safe ones ahead. 🚨WINNING NAME 🫶

🐾 Fiddy — inspired by 50 Cent.

🐾 Sammy Hagar — after his hit “I Can’t Drive 55.”

🐾 Forrest Gump — because this boy sure ran all over town!

🚨UPDATE AND NAME SUGGESTIONS NEEDED: I55 Pup 🐾

Our I-55 boy had his vet visit, and we’re happy to report that he’s doing great!

He’s approximately 10 months old, weighs 40 pounds, and is heartworm negative. We’ve already started the process of scheduling his neuter and microchip. Best of all, the vet didn’t find any other medical concerns.

He’s a sweet, young pup who is still learning the basics and will benefit from a patient foster willing to help him build confidence and adjust to life as a loved family dog. If you or anyone you know is interested in fostering, please let us know.

This sweet boy needs a name, and since so many of you have been invested in his story, we want your help!
