This may be a tad of an unpopular opinion but lately I’ve been hearing ALOT of people who board their horses (not mine. My clients are amazing ) complain about muddy pastures.

I think I can speak for a majority of barn owners in our area.

Personally, I see a muddy pasture/dry lot and think “wow, that farm actually uses those fields,those horses get to go outside” not “OMG those poor horses have to walk around in dirt all day, they would be so much happier sitting in their 10x10 box 24/7”.

I think I’ve kept horses in maybe a total of 5 or 6 days in the last year. They get the opportunity to go outside 12 hours a day, 365 days a year and some people (again. Not my people) are complaining about mud in your paddocks.

One of our lovely boarder horses is coming up for half-lease!

Mango is a 17yo 16.2h OTTB that is looking for another partner to keep him fit! Mr. Personality here would thrive best with an intermediate rider that is looking for a safe partner to spend time with.

Lately Mango has been working on some light dressage work but could get back to low fences.

Bi-weekly lessons will be required to maintain mango’s training consistency.
