Hey Everyone,
We are looking for the best and most loving home for our Wooly Akita Griffy (aka Fuzzy Butt)
Griffy is 4 years old Male (yes he is neutered )
and needs to go to a family that knows about Akitas and has no other dogs.
He is a big boy and needs room and preferably a back yard (no apartments)
We would rather him go to a family with no children (or older) just because he has never really been around very young children.
Unfortunately, we have another older dog and they do not get along causing both dogs to be stressed out and causing fights. This is not new and we have been trying different things for a while now. This is why we will only let Griffy go to a home with NO other dogs - no exceptions. We do have 3 cats and he has never shown any type of aggressiveness towards the cats, he does find it fun to chase them sometimes but usually doesn't even bother with them at all.
Griffy is a big baby, he loves attention, and loves to try and be in the way all the time and lay behind you when your cooking in the kitchen. We usually get him groomed a couple times a year to keep him coat nice and fresh and he kisses the groomer 1000 times... He loves walks, just not on garbage day because he is scared of the garbage truck..
He doesn't like hard play toys but loves stuffed ones he can rip apart
He does know basic training like sit, paw, lay down..
He also requires a nightly treat before bed or he will pout,
