As this year comes to a close, it’s impossible not to get emotional.
This was the year everything changed.
This was the year I took a deep breath, took the leap, and went full-time for this business. The year a dream turned into a responsibility… and then into something so much bigger than I ever imagined. This was also the year we opened our salon which is a huge milestone that still doesn’t feel real some days.
I made a promise this year, too.
A promise to Courtney 💕 my full-time sitter, my rock, my right hand 🥹 that growth would create opportunity. That loyalty, heart, and hard work would be rewarded. This year she built the pathway for our future oetsitters and now sits as a manager for the company.
And together… we grew a team.
A real one. People who show up, who care, who love your pets, who take this work seriously and treat it with the heart it deserves. That growth didn’t come without long days, hard conversations, exhaustion, or tears, but it came with so much pride. Im so grateful for my team of sitters.
This year stretched us in every direction.
Early mornings. Late nights. Holidays spent making sure pets weren’t alone. Sitting on floors with nervous pets. Loving your animals like they were our own, because, in so many ways, they are.
And because of you, we were honored to place 🥉 3rd Place. That recognition means the world; not because of a title, but because it reflects trust from a community we love so deeply.
To our clients: thank you for believing in us, for trusting us with your babies, for supporting us as we grew, for the notes, the gifts, the patience, and the encouragement on our busiest days.
To our pets: thank you for the kisses, the fur-covered clothes, the muddy paws, the happy dances, and the unconditional love that reminds us every single day why this work matters.
We’re ending this year tired, emotional, proud, and endlessly grateful.
And we’re stepping into the next year with bigger dreams, fuller hearts, and the same promise: to show up, to care deeply, and to love your pets like family.
