WHEN THE HARD DAYS COME:
My hardest walk with/for you🐴🐴
we had to say goodbye to Rhett Roni yesterday—my best boy in the world, my heart and soul 🐴🐴❤️🙏
He came to me as a senior horse… retired from high school rodeo and barrel racing.
But he still had it in him… and he was young enough to show me how to run barrels.
He took care of me and gave me his whole heart from day one.
He was the sweetest, kindest, biggest soul… my dream horse.
He helped me show up on the days it was hard to get out of bed.
He helped me walk through fear… and show up at barrel races when I didn’t know what I was doing.
He carried me through it… and he helped me win in more ways than just the barrel races.
Like all the others we’ve had to let go… he took a big part of our hearts with him.
Sometimes you wonder how much heart you have left after saying goodbye to the ones you love.
It’s not the same here today… and I’m not sure it ever will be.
Quincy was able to say goodbye… but she’s still looking for him.
And honestly… so am I. 🙏🙏🌈🐴
So we’ll hold onto the memories—
the rides, the barrel races, and everything he helped me get through.
He was my champion!!!!!
My heart.
My soul.
My friend.
This one is a hard one.
It’s too quiet here…
The walk to the barn is sooooo much harder today.
and it will never be the same.
Thank you Rhett Roni phony baloney for every bit of your heart from day one and the journey we shared together.
This is a hard loss… so quick n toooo soon
My heart is broken and those that loved you too. You were a big presence here and in many lives along yr way ❤️🐴❤️
No more pain or suffering where you are now …as you gently feel into the hands of God
