WE WANTED TO SHARE MORE INFORMATION ON LUNA, MOOSE, AND THE PUPPIES AND GIVE YOU ALL SOME FACTS ABOUT GOLDENDOODLES:

Luna is a Standard F1 Goldendoodle, meaning she is a 1st generation. Her parents were a golden retriever and a standard poodle. This gives the F1 a mix of roughly 50% of each of those breeds. She weighs roughly 63 pounds. Moose (our litter’s daddy) is a Standard F1b multigenerational Goldendoodle. He comes from Goldendoodles that were bred back (b) at some point with a poodle. This breeding back gave Moose more of the poodle genetics, which is why he is 78.1% standard poodle and 21.9% golden retriever. He is roughly 80 pounds.

This combination of Luna and Moose’s genetics means that Luna’s puppies will be around 64% standard poodle and 36% golden retriever. This makes these puppies F2b multigenerational. More importantly, the higher poodle percentage means they have a higher success for low to no-shedding and the hypoallergenic quality. CAN YOU SAY NO CONSTANT SWEEPING OR VACUUMING! (Now this does not guarantee that a Goldendoodle will not set off an allergic reaction because all animals do have allergens). All the while, these dogs will still maintain those cherished qualities of the golden retriever (loving, great temperament/disposition) and the standard poodle (protective, highly intelligent, and fun-loving).

These puppies are standard size Goldendoodles. That means they will grow up to be about 20-26” tall at the shoulders and weigh between 50-90 pounds.

Why do Goldendoodles make such amazing pets? Because they have all of those qualities of both the Golden Retriever and Standard Poodle, you can expect everything already mentioned and more! They are also amazing around children. For example, Luna plays hide and seek with our youngest daughter and loves it! They are also energetic. They are perfect for those owners who enjoy walking, hiking, running or any outdoor adventure. (This energy is yet another perk for children and parents because they can be energetic together and tire each other out!)

Goldendoodles are also ideal SERVICE ANIMALS because of their intelligence, loyalty and temperament.

One other important thing to share. Goldendoodles come in a wide array of colors and coat types! Some colors are rarer than others. The 3 coat types are straight, wavy and curly.
