Throwing the idea out there looking for a part time or possibly even full leaser for our gelding.

Castiel aka Cass is a 16 hand quarter horse. He’s been there done that is child safe, beginner safe, bomb proof. My 3 year old rides him without tack. And he teaches begginer children riding lessons as well.

Cass can do the barrel pattern is a great horse to learn on and is a confident builder. Once you gain his trust he will do anything for his rider.

You’ll get to use his saddle that fits him, his saddle pad, his tack, and everything he needs as it’s all fitted to him. If you choose to use your own tack I must make sure that it fits him because he doesn’t deserve Ill fitted tack.

We don’t have a barn or indoor. We are building an arena as soon as all our stuff comes to start. You’ll get to ride in the pasture, the arena once built, the road, down the field drive. We could also discuss trail riding if you’d like to do that as well.

MEDFORD WI

Will not consider off site lease

ISO a full time leaser for my gelding.

I have decided to lease my boy out as he needs more consistent ride time than I can do right now with my schedule.

Fynneagan aka Fynn is a 5 year old standardbred cross gelding. In your pocket, sweet, wants to be your friend. Fynn spent 90 days with the trainer over the winter where he was rode English and western; I only ride western but he could care less what type of saddle he’s rode in. Hes been rode ba****ck as well. Fynn is broke to ride walk/trot/lope but no fancy buttons yet.

My beginner husband has been riding him no issues but he requires a CONFIDENT RIDER who is calm. He is forward moving as well so because of that he needs an experienced rider. He has had more consistent riding last summer and spring with various riders. He’s very responsive to pressure as well. Stands for tacking and mounting and grooming. No funny business type of horse. My 3 year old spent the majority of the summer riding him on lungeline and being ponied as well. Hes great with kiddos under adult supervision on lead line and lungeline. This summer my 3 year old has been riding him on the barrel pattern.

You may use your own tack but we must establish that it will work for him as he’s a super hard to fit horse and will tell you if it doesn’t work. I do have a saddle I just bought that fits him that you can use for time being as well.

With the lease you’ll get to ride him whenever you want up to 5 times a week.

This will be at our home: we don’t have anything fancy, you may ride on the road and the field drive and once our outdoor arena is built you’ll have access to that as well. I don’t have an indoor or barn. You also ride in the dry lot and extra pasture as well.

➡️ i cannot stress this enough: Must be a CONFIDENT RIDER!!! or he will not work for you. You cant second guess your riding ability or be an anxious rider. He requires a confident calm rider!!!!! Experienced riders only!!!!!⬅️

He can go in any direction as this summer I’m planning on send him for cow training and possibly barrels as well. He’s seen the pattern and been walked through it but that’s about it as it was for fun purposes. He’s been housed with cows prior to moving him home as well and was sorting cows on his own. I took him to an area and had someone run him through the pattern and he did great. Plus he’s been doing walking the pattern here at home with my 3 year old preparing for a fun show.

Haven’t sticked him lately but when he was at the trainers he was 15.2 hands then so give it take as far as height. My 6’7 husband rides him just fine with plenty of leg room to spare

He’s got speed when he wants as well if it’s his idea. Because he technically gaited his strides are going to be a lot different than your average quarter horse he is more like riding a saddlebred. He is a pacer (standardbred gait)

I have tons of videos of him being rode by various riders as well.
