BIG NEWS!! 🎉 🎉📣📣
We are so excited that we just cannot contain ourselves any longer!
Day Of The Dog Grooming Studio is relocating to 7032 Mechanicsville Turnpike. That is less than two miles away from our current location!
It will be Renamed Day Of The Dog Training and Grooming. This new amazing space will allow us to do in-house training. We will offer the same low volume, high quality grooming as that you and your dog love as well as private lessons, k-9 Day Academy, group classes (4dogs max) on topics such as: manners, agility skills and foundations, weaves, teeter training, running contact flatwork, K-9 fitness, tricks, scentwork and more!!
The weather has slowed the progress of our renovations but we will be open before the new year!
Be on the lookout 👀 I will be posting workshops and our first session of classes on the Day Of The Dog page soon.
Till then, we are still taking grooming appointments at our 8175 Mechanicsville Turnpike location.

Oh the US Open! A 5 day marathon of high highs and low lows. I will continue to trickle videos of some of our runs into the feed. I am so so proud of both of my boys. It has been a dream of mine just to run a finals with Turkish at the Open. This year he got to run in speedstakes finals, got 3rd place 🥉 in his class in combined Master series Finals, which were Two very tough courses. One of which was designed by my favorite course designer .agility who designed master agility finals. Both of my boys got through this very tough course! Turkish also made biathlon finals which was another course designed by Petr. After a scare due to some start line issues we ran clean and I was totally shocked when we came off the course and I was asked to take the first place 🥇 podium. It was Dream come true! My stunning Southpaw is not to be left in the shadows of his brother. He ran quite competitively. In snooker. We had a tiny bobble which put us half a stride from making it over the first 7 point jump before the buzzer. He made it to the games finals where he flew and could not have been more perfect! That combined scored with the 7 point snooker would have put us in the running for WAO! South really thrives in the big event environment! Can’t wait to see what next year brings for us! A million thank you’s to for the laughs, the strategizing, videoing, and over all trip planning. I am also very thankful to who I could always hear cheering us on and for the many priceless videos! Last but not least thank you to because my fitness is just as important as my dogs. Not once did I feel gassed out while running these huge courses. Now time to sleep!

Shout out to my Super Southy who was flying in the opening but was kind enough to not take out the hand that feeds him 😂He got 3rd place in thus super fast Petr Pupik J3 course. Both of my dogs turned left out of the weaves which means we have some homework to do.

Had an Amazing time running ISC asa last preparation for the US open next week. Both boys did amazing! Turkish crushed this super tough A3 course by Petr Pupik and was the only dog to run it clear. There was so much packed into the past two days. Mire to come in Southpaw and his seminars with him. Petr is so so nice and I have always loved his courses that make me “run as hell” 😂.
Such a pleasure to get to know him and can’t wait to Run his courses at the Open.
