We feel like we "re-organize" the barn and hay barn twice a year. We lack storage and fight that while also trying to make things better and more efficient every year.

We had shelves in our hay barn on that left side that were here when we moved in - just never moved them- heck some of the stuff on them were there when we bought!!!

Our hay guy hated how he had to come in at an angle bc of the shelves. And then Mike built us an awesome work bench that needed its own organized space.

So yesterday we had some extra hands (thanks Alex and Pierce!) and cleaned out and moved around our shelving and stuff to create a "work area" and a straight shot for hay. We can bring hay in a different angle around the work area so hoping we made things better today!!

It's not exciting but it makes life on the farm easier!

Now for a hay delivery this week!

Today we introduced the bay TB group to Buttercup and LJ. Nobody cares. 😍Just going about their grazing.

We are blessed with relatively chill horses. Which is why you need to come see us if you're looking for a companion horse! Easy peasy ponies!

Update: she just got safe with a really good home! We're on the road coming back from a farm visit so we can't look at the details but we can refund donations if you like. Just shoot us a note.

Ok, we haven't done this in a year.... we appear to be the only ones willing to help this poor mare. But helping the horses that are used and tossed away is kinda our thing I guess. Aiming for $2500 to transport and cover vetting in QT.

So this video is super cool. Similar to yesterday, Buttercup the mule and Murphy the DSLD pony are racing around with a little from LJ, too. But watch for the other paint to join in partway into the video....

That's Jack- the coolest blind horse(we think coolest in the world!). Jack has confidence but is still careful. Our understanding is he had sight for 4-5 years, before we got him (owner surrender).

He has the spirit you hope ALL discarded or compromised horses can maintain - a joy for life despite his limitations. He's the bomb!
