The beginning of something great...
Flying Arrow Shepherds is named after my sweet girl, Arrow. She is my dream dog. I bought her back in 2020, and I can't believe how much she's grown as both a dog and companion in these past 3 years. Arrow is a fully-black German Shepherd, which makes her a rarity within her breed. Along with her unique color comes everything you could want in a German Shepherd. Loyal, smart, loving, dependable, and overall a very patient and sweet soul. From helping me work cattle in the hot Kansas wind, to entertaining my nieces and nephews, she goes almost everywhere I go, and has taken every challenge I've thrown at her in stride.
This coming May, she will whelp her first AKC litter with my young, but very impressive stud, Beau! (As you can probably tell, the play on words I've used in naming these two wasn't at all an accident!😉🏹) My boy Beau is all love and loyalty. He has such a sweet demeanor and a pair of stunning golden eyes to boot! This guy aims to please and retains commands just as well as Arrow does, which is saying something! Beau is protective of his family, but has no problem making friends, both human and animal. I'm excited to see just how big this guy gets, as he's not fully grown yet at only 10 months old. He's already taller than his lady, but still has some filling out to do!
This litter is expected to produce some fully-black pups, as well as a few with some color!
