Created in 2015, Harper's Best of Mutts Show is a fundraiser for local animal shelters in and around Hancock County. Started by Summer Harper, the event raises money through a variety of methods. The Event

The show features the supported charities who provide information for their shelters, and bring a sampling of pets ready to be adopted. The show also has a vendor area where people can shop for

supplies for their animals. Food vendors are available, and Scarlett Lane Brewery provides a beer tent for the adults. The event is pet-friendly, and many families bring their dogs. The Competition

Bringing your dog is a great idea, as the main event of the day is a competition for your dogs! Trophies and prize packs are given to the winner in each category. There's even face painting for the kids, and a fun photo booth! Big or small, show us that your dog is the best!
