Anya, my service dog for hearing, is my champion. It was about 1:30 am and she barked to alert me. The bark wasn’t protective but to wake me. Which is what she is trained for. She stared out the window while standing on my bed. From her appearance, I knew it was something familiar. So, I went outside on the porch to see what was the matter. When I did, I saw 5 of John’s horses by my porch. I called John and he came down and put them back in their pasture. Anya is still very young but learning all the time. What a great dog.
