Riverside Ranch Riverside Ranch is an all inclusive facility offering horse boarding, riding lessons, clinics, trail riding, and community outreach programs.

The ranch is located in Mayer, MN, and is open to the public by appointment only. We would love to meet you!

Our clinic on April 11th is coming fast, so I thought I would introduce our panel speakers over the next couple of weeks! First up is Dr. Maggie King with Weitz Equine Veterinary Services. We are so thankful to have her support and look forward to learning from her!

A bit about Maggie King, DVM:

Maggie grew up in Le Sueur, Minnesota, on a family farm with horses, miniature donkeys, sheep, show pigs, 4H beef cattle, and an assortment of poultry. Her equine interests began at 8 years-old when Pepper the Wonder Pony, the world's kindest, most perfect 36 year-old POA mare, joined the family on Christmas Eve. Her family has bred and raised Thoroughbreds for many years since, and she currently has a 6 year-old OTTB. She attended Gustavus Adolphus College for her undergraduate degree, earned a Master's degree at University of Iowa, and graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2022. In her spare time, Maggie enjoys being outside, spending time with family and friends, cooking, baking, crafting, DIYing, brewing beer with her Vet School brewing buddies, and hanging out with her new Labrador puppy, Ripley.

Come join us at the ranch on April 11th for a ground work clinic and educational panel! All are welcome to attend! Each of these speakers are incredibly gifted in the work that they do, and we’re humbled to have their support at Riverside Ranch and Herd of Hope.

This clinic has NO SIGN UP FEE- instead, please bring a free will donation for Herd Of Hope. 100% of the proceeds from this event will go directly to building Herd of Hope's mentorship and equine therapy programs. We are incredibly grateful for your support. 🤍
