Want your dog to listen better when it really matters?

Stop making every recall mean **the fun is over.**

If “come!” always means:
🐶 Time to leave the park
🐶 Come inside
🐶 Playtime is over
🐶 You're getting a bath
🐶 I'm putting your leash back on

…your dog can quickly figure out that coming to you isn't always a great deal.

Practice calling your dog throughout the day, rewarding them for coming, and then **releasing them right back to what they were doing.**

Sometimes “come” should mean:

**Run to me, something good happens, and then you get to go have fun again.** ❤️

Those little practice moments can help build a much stronger recall when you actually need it. 🐾

🐾 Monday Dog Tip: Check the Collar!

When was the last time you actually took your dog's collar off and looked underneath it?

Collars can hide more than you'd think—especially on fluffy or thick-coated dogs.

Take a minute today to check for:
🐶 Matting underneath or around the collar
🔴 Redness or irritated skin
👃 Unusual odor
🐾 A collar that's gotten too tight
🔍 Lumps, bumps, ticks, or other changes you hadn't noticed

While you're there, give the collar itself a wash if it needs one. You might be surprised how much dirt and oil they collect!

It takes about a minute, but it's an easy little habit that can help you catch problems early. ❤️

Consider this your Monday reminder to check under the collar! 🐾

Sometimes the hardest thing to do is simply be still.

There is always another thing that needs done, another worry waiting for our attention, and another problem we feel like we need to solve right now.

This week, I'm reminding myself that I don't have to carry everything at once. Sometimes I need to be still, trust Him, and take the next day as it comes. ❤️
