It’s that time of year. Shows and rodeos are beginning to slow down.
I have been asked over the last few weeks if I give lessons/train still, and the answer is yes!

I was listening to a pod cast the other day and a few questions were asked:

“Can you understand what your horses is telling you?”

And more importantly:

“Do you care?”

This really made me think about everything. How often do we misinterpert what our horses are telling us or just flat out ignore it?

As horsemen, it is our job, our GOAL, to develop the best equine athlete we can. That is only going to be possible if we listen to them, and care about what they have to say.

It’s not always about going fast. Some of the greatest lessons happen when we are standing still.
