I went to the grocery store for an hour..

All of the dogs have decided that was long enough! 😂

They all followed me into my bedroom and bathroom when I got home to make sure I wasn’t leaving again, and now they’re all supervising me from the living room.

This is exactly what I hope for when dogs stay here. They aren’t sitting in a crate or kennel waiting for pickup. They’re curled up on couches, dog beds, rugs, and even under the couch, following me from room to room, and just… living life.

I’d say they’re feeling pretty at home 🏡🐾

What if I told you there was another dog across the street on our left?

What if I told you this is one of my reactive dog walks?

Hard to believe by his body language, huh? 🐾

That’s what progress looks like!

Not perfection.
Not a straight line.
Not a magical “fixed” dog.

Just trust, confidence, and countless small victories stacked on top of each other.

We still have good days and bad days. Days where I’m waiting for a reaction and days where the wind is enough to put him on edge.

But every single walk, we’re prepared for the worst and hoping for the best.

And this walk? This walk was a good one!❤️

To me, they’re photos of trust 🩵

When working with dogs who have a bite history, trauma history, or unknown history, progress isn’t always dramatic. Sometimes it looks like a dog choosing to move closer, lean in, and ask for affection.

Perfect! They will fit right in! 🐾

The magnetic screen door lets dogs move between the yard and the house whenever they want. Some choose sunshine, some choose air conditioning and some can’t make up their minds 😂

Facebook says it’s been 130 days since my last post.. Opps!

What can I say? I’ve been a little busy 😅

The good news is Fulton Pet Care isn’t going anywhere!! 😉

Behind the scenes, it’s been business as usual: boarding dogs, drop-ins, walks, daycare, medication schedules, muddy paws, and lots of wagging tails.

I’ll get back into the swing of updating the business pages 🐾
