Understanding dog body language is always important, but it’s especially important during playtime. That’s why all of our team members are trained to identify negative body language during play. We know when it’s time to separate dogs and how to avoid incidents.
Here are a few things we watch out for:
- One dog is constantly moving away from the other and trying to create space. This means they need a break.
- Increasingly rough play or relentless biting. Some dogs can become overstimulated and end up nipping or play biting a bit too hard causing the other dog to react more aggressively.
