Who’s ready for the sunshine this summer?! Poppy and Piper are!

These girls LOVE sunbathing. Piper has been working on her tan since March (don’t tell her that her belly is still as white as a Dalmatian 😂).

Our drop-in visits are perfect for pups that need a break in their day. Poppy and Piper get to leave their crates, soak in the sun, and spend their time exactly as they like when we stop in. Sometimes they run around and wrestle together, sometimes they just lounge in the sunshine. Either way, they’re happy and satisfied by the time we leave! ☀️

Our team members aren’t just trained in first aid, they’re also trained to identify to signs of pain and discomfort in animals.

During Sadie’s walk, our team member realized she was walking a bit strange on her hind paws. When inspecting a bit further, they realized her poor paw pads were sore and red. They kept Sadie on the grass until she handled her potty business and got her right back inside to soothe those sore paws. They applied a cool wet compress to her paw pads to keep them hydrated, then spent the rest of the visit giving her lots of love, cuddles, and playtime. Mom and dad let us know that she had quite an exciting weekend playing in the pool, so her wet paw pads got a bit roughed up from the concrete that day. Luckily our team member was paying attention and made sure not to worsen her condition with a long walk on the sidewalk. Sadie had no complaints - she loves a good snuggle!

Do you have a nervous pet leaving you unable to enjoy trips or too much time away from the home? Are you worried that bringing in someone new will be too much for them?

We understand. Introducing new people to your shy or nervous pet can seem intimidating, but that shouldn’t keep you from enjoying your life outside of the home.

All of our WalkEase team members are trained in slow introductions and compassionate care. We don’t force anything with your pups, but we do gain their trust through calm and patient repetition.

Penny was so nervous of Nick when she first met him! He spent the first 20 minutes of their 30-minute walk talking to her, offering treats, and praising her for each step she took to come out of her shell. By the end of their first visit, she was strutting around the neighborhood and curling up into his lap. By walk #2, they were playing and running around together!

We understand trusting someone with your nervous babies can seem scary, but we promise to make it anything but scary for them. We treat every pet with love and kindness. Allowing them to meet new people and form more positive experiences can only benefit them and make them even more confident moving forward!

Our walks provide more than just exercise for your dogs. They give them the ability to sniff and explore the world around them. When you book any of our dog walking services, you’re paying for our time, so we are in no rush. We’re able to walk at your dog’s pace, so they can get some energy out or stay in one area and sniff every blade of grass. It doesn’t matter to us!

Sniffing engages your dog’s parasympathetic nervous system and provides stress relief. It releases dopamine, lowers their heart rate, and reduces anxiety by providing information about their environment.

Long, slow walks can benefit your dog greatly, but we understand if you don’t have the time, energy, or desire to stand around waiting for them to sniff a tree for 10-minutes. Luckily for you, we do! Book any of our 30, 45, or 60-minute walks and see the benefits for yourself.

Some days Goose wakes up feeling a bit stiff and sore, so we enjoy a relaxing walk around the yard and cool off in front of the fan after. Other days, he needs to move his muscles a bit, so we run around and play before heading inside for some cool water.
