Well, somebody better warn the open road because Thelma (black and white) and Louise (brown tabby with white) are looking for an escape... straight into their forever homes. These two girls have been in our care since August 4th, and they're officially ready to leave their rescue days behind them!

Estimated at around 2 years old, Thelma and Louise have already checked a few things off their adventure list:
Spayed? Check.
Microchipped? Check.
Started on vaccines? Check.
Flea treatment? Check.
Dewormer? Check.

Now, before you start picturing these two riding off into the sunset together, we need to clear something up, Thelma and Louise are not bonded.Unlike their famous movie counterparts, these ladies do NOT have to do everything together. They can be adopted separately and each find their own happily-ever-after.

No road trip, convertible or police chase required (and please, no driving off a cliff!) Just a loving home and a human who is ready to make them part of the family.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Don’t Dirty the Dale for going the extra mile, literally, and coming all the way from Carbondale to help pick up litter from our parking lot!

It may seem like a small thing, but keeping our property clean and welcoming makes a big difference. These are the pieces of litter they collected during their visit, and we are incredibly grateful that someone took the time to notice the need and do something about it.

What makes this even more special is that the founder of Don’t Dirty the Dale has also adopted from us. Knowing that someone who has already supported our mission by giving one of our animals a forever home continues to find ways to support us means so much!

Salsa says she's the sweetest baby (once you win her over with patience and a squeeze treat ❤️) She would love to find her forever person or family today and not be here in this kitten room all alone 😭 Could you be the happily ever after she's waiting for?
