Dalmatians have A LOT of energy. These two enjoyed a new hiking trail yesterday and hiked a total of 6 miles. ♥️ They continued even when it was raining out. They got the zoomies multiple times and ended up wrestling in the mud. They may have needed a bath, but a muddy dog equals a happy dog.

We have been awfully quiet. But, I got some pictures of the two. And, these Dalmatians are going to visit Colorado in a few days! I'm so hyped to see them hike and run with all their energy. ♥️
But for now, enjoy photos taken in the country when we visited some family who didn't mind letting them run around for several hours.
My next question, do Dalmatians EVER run out of energy?! Because they didn't after running and playing for several hours!

Hey y'all.
Let me clear up some things.
Recently, it was brought to my attention that due to my past posts, people think that I plan on breeding Ember & Hiccup NOW, before they are even a year old.
That's the last thing we want. Hiccup and Ember will both be MATURE before being bred, and will have OFAs done before being bred. They have several more tests to complete. OFAs cannot even be completed until they are two years old.
My previous posts seem to have mislead people into thinking that I plan on breeding Ember now with a broken leg. Embers leg is almost healed, but she's also not going to be bred for quite some time. Not until she gets her OFAs done along with several other things.
My plan is to do this as ethically as possible. I've done research on this for several years. I've been learning about breeding since 2019-2020. These dogs live in my home, they are fed and loved by me and my husband.
If you have questions, feel free to ask. I genuinely appreciate people who are concerned about my dogs and want to ask questions. There's a lot of false information out there right now. Do not believe everything that you read.
Hiccup is not a available stud right now. If someone were to reach out wanting him to stud a litter, They would be rejected. Hiccup has a variety of tests that he has to complete before being available for stud services. Even when he is available, he will not be bred to every single person who wants him to stud a litter for them. Every person who wants to use him as a stud will it be highly investigated to make sure their program is ethical and correct.
I'm sorry for any mix-up, but we do plan on doing this as appropriately as possible. These two will not be bred until they are mature and have all their tests done.

Hiccup is doing just fine. He's living life, sad that he can't play with his roommate.

April 11th was national pet day apparently? So I figured I'd do a little shout out on my doggies ♥️ Don't mind the fact that I'm like, 2 or 3 days late. I've been working on getting Ember's health all situated 🥴

HICCUP
Hiccup was born on October 27, 2024. He joined our family in December, and he's been out crazy, hectic boy. He's very lovey dovey, and wants to express his love for you... But hasn't figured out that there's a gentle way to do it. He will full on tackle you to give you the kisses you deserve... And maybe a little nibble to make sure that you are not food.
I take him to the dog park at least 2-3 times a week for socialization training. Through this, he has met several dogs and people. He has started coming out of his shell and introducing himself to to other dogs, but he's still pretty shy with people. It just takes him a moment to warm up to people there. But, if you give him a treat, you will be his new best friend. It's sort of funny, because at home, he comes up to meet you pretty quick, but not at the dog park.
I had waited for this boy for almost a full year. I am so excited to finally have him for our program!

EMBER
Ember was born on December 12, 2024. She joined our family in February, and she has been out little cuddle bug ever since.
This girl... Is actually the SWEETEST dog. Shes got the sass. Shes got the 'tude. But she is so social. And she loves attention and cuddles. She isn't as food motivated but is more motivated when she gets pets and is talked to sweetly. Calling her a "good girl" is more of a reward than a treat sometimes!
When we take her to the dog park, she wouldn't even stick around me. She would go introduce herself to every single person at the park, looking for attention and pets. She would go up to people who were walking, and stand in their way so that they had no choice but to acknowledge her presence. She never sticks with me. She finds a new human to walk with 🤣
She has an amazing personality and her eye make up is so dramatic, lol. It fits her personality! She is going to have beautiful puppies one day. ❤️

Another beautiful day to take these pups to the dog park to let out some energy and for perfect socialization with dogs and humans! These two are great with both children and adults, along with dogs and even senior dogs!
Hiccup is so gentle when he plays. As soon as a pup rolls over on its belly, he stops immediately and turns away. He seems to know when to be gentle and when he can be a little tougher. Phenomenal!
Ember is learning that even off lead, she has to stick near me and answer me if I call for her. This has been a issue where she just starts to wonder off with a new family at the dog park 🤣. This time though, she only needed redirection a couple times.
I love how gentle and sweet these two dalmatians are!
