MISSING FROM BELPRE, OHIO May 24th update

Hudson, also known as Huddy Bear, has now been missing for 8 days. He was last seen Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 3:30 PM from the 700 block of 5th Street in Belpre, Ohio.

A REWARD HAS BEEN OFFERED for information that leads to Hudson's safe return.

WE REMAIN OPTIMISTIC

We have good reason to believe Hudson is still out there. Multiple eyewitnesses saw him escape out a lower window at the back of the home and head toward the tree line, and a thorough search of the home turned up no sign that he stayed behind. Hudson made it out. We are confident of that.

What we have not had, despite an intensive local search, is a single confirmed sighting of Hudson in the immediate area. We covered that ground hard, with a thermal drone flight, baited cameras running around the clock, yard signs, flyers, and the WTAP story. The quiet tells us something useful. Hudson has most likely either traveled beyond the neighborhood or, just as likely, been taken in by someone who has no idea he is a missing dog.

That is where this case turns hopeful, and it is where you come in.

HIS MICROCHIP IS THE KEY

Hudson is microchipped and his family has a lost pet alert active. If he is scanned at any shelter, vet office, or rescue within a 50-mile radius, his family is notified right away. We are also getting his flyer into the hands of shelters, vets, and rescues across a wider region.

CASE DETAILS

Hudson is a 9 year old neutered male Shih Tzu. He is grey, brown, and white with tan highlights and a slightly darker face. He stands about 12 to 14 inches tall and weighs around 20 pounds. He has a blue tattoo from his neuter and crooked bottom teeth. He is shy and timid, especially after everything he has been through.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

If you have taken in, fed, or seen a small grey, brown, and white Shih Tzu anywhere since May 16, please have him scanned for a microchip at any vet or shelter, or reach out to us. No questions asked. We just want Hudson home.

If you live anywhere in the Mid-Ohio Valley or the surrounding counties, please share this post. The dog who turned up in your neighborhood, or your cousin's, or your coworker's, could be Hudson.

DO NOT CHASE. If you see him, do not approach, call out, or follow. Note the exact location and direction he is heading, then report it right away.

Report a sighting or send a tip to the PSA tip line at 740-206-8831 or at petsearchalliance.org. All tips are handled with discretion.

Please keep sharing. One scan, one phone call, one share could be the one that brings him home.

A Belpre family whose townhouse was destroyed in an explosion Saturday is asking for the community’s help finding their missing dog.

MISSING FROM FRIES PARKWAY, PARKERSBURG WV
Cruise, 5-year-old intact male Turkish Van
Missing 3 days

Cruise has been missing since Friday, May 15, 2026 at 9:00 PM
from the Fries Parkway area of Parkersburg.

He is a Turkish Van with a distinctive black spot on his chin.
No collar. Not microchipped.
Friendly by nature, but gets scared and runs if approached too quickly.

Important: Cruise was visiting the Fries Parkway area and is
not familiar with this neighborhood. Cats unfamiliar with their
surroundings often hide close to where they were last seen,
and intact males can travel further than expected, especially
during the spring season.

A possible sighting has been reported near the Dollar General
on DuPont Road.

DO NOT CHASE. If you see Cruise, do not approach, call out to him,
or follow. Note your exact location and the direction he is moving,
then report it right away.

To report a sighting:
Call or text the PSA tip line: 740-206-8831

REESE IS HOME. RESOLVED.

Wonderful news out of Belleville, WV. Reese, the 6-month-old puppy who went missing yesterday afternoon, has been found safe and healthy and is back home with her family.

She was missing for approximately 25 hours. Her family located her this evening while out on a side-by-side ride, roughly a mile up the hill behind their house. She is uninjured and doing well.

Thank you to every single person who liked, shared, and kept eyes out for Reese. This is exactly how these cases get solved. A community paying attention makes all the difference, even when the final find happens close to home.

Welcome home, Reese.

CASE CLOSED POSTED MAY 14, 2026

MISSING FROM BEALLSVILLE, OH. SKIPPER & SKILLY have been missing together since the morning of May 13, 2026. More than 30 hours and counting.

Last seen near the 51400 block of Mellott Ridge Rd. in rural Monroe County.
Skipper and Skilly are both 6-year-old neutered males.

The larger of the two is a bloodhound and Great Pyrenees mix. He is shy and docile, and he is wearing a chain link collar. He is the one leading them away from home, and he bolts when approached.

The smaller of the two is a medium size black and white mix. He is friendly, a little hyper, and will come when called. His collar came off.

DO NOT CHASE. Do not call out to either dog. If you see them, note your location and direction of travel and report immediately. Chasing the larger dog will push them both further into the ridges.

Report a sighting anonymously by scanning the QR code on our flyer or visiting petsearchalliance.org. You can also call our tip line at 740-206-8831.
Please share this post widely across Monroe and Belmont County, especially in Beallsville, Woodsfield, and the surrounding rural communities. Comment below to follow this case and get updates as they come in.

May 12, 2026 | LADY RITA IS HOME | Parkersburg, WV

She is home. After 33 days, Lady Rita is home.

At 12:18 AM this morning one of our Vosker cameras began sending notifications. Lady Rita had found one of our remote feed stations. She settled in, laid down right in the center of the frame along a fence line, completely unaware she had just made the call that would bring her home.

The notification went straight to her owner's phone. She headed out immediately, calm and quiet, exactly the right approach for a dog as shy as Lady Rita. For a moment it looked like Lady Rita might bolt. Then she paused. She heard her owner's voice. She recognized it. After 33 days on her own, in an unfamiliar corridor, surviving on her own terms, she knew she was finally safe. She cautiously approached and went right to her. Lady Rita was ready to go home.

Our Missy trap was not far away but it was not needed tonight. This reunion happened because a kind homeowner in the area said yes when we asked to place a camera in her backyard. That one yes was the pivotal moment in this entire case. We cannot thank her enough.

And we have to say it clearly. Vosker made this happen. Not the trap. Not a chase. An instant notification in the middle of the night that put the right person in the right place at exactly the right moment. Our Vosker cameras were the sentinel that never blinked, never missed a beat, and tonight delivered Lady Rita back to her family. We are in awe of what these cameras do for our mission and tonight is the proof.

Thank you to every single person who shared this post, called in a tip, checked your doorbell footage, let us post a sign in your yard, or simply kept Lady Rita in your thoughts over the past 33 days. This community did this together.

The reunion video is in the comments. Have your tissues ready.
