Arf-Anage Dog Rescue we participate in the last litter program. We specialize Moms and Pups and Puppies from owner surrender and the shelters. Adopt don't shop!

We are a 501c3 dog rescue committed to finding "furever" homes for non breed-specific and specialize in Moms and puppies, owner surrenders and non aggressive dogs in the animal shelters. Litters of pups that were "accidental" or the last of a litter that they "couldn't get rid of." Please do not buy from backyard breeders! Our Motto is "NO MOM LEFT BEHIND"

We make every effort to find perfect homes and require a home inspection before adoption. We will ALWAYS take a dog back if it doesn't work out with their adoptive family. We offer 80% refunds on adoption fees up to 5 days after the adoption. We also offer assistance to help find free or reasonable spay and neuter for owned pets.

Meet Silas!
Silas is a handsome 1.5-year-old Doberman with a heart full of love and energy to spare! He’s great with kids and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Silas is very playful and would thrive in an active home where he can be part of the family adventures.

He’s crate trained, potty trained, and in excellent health. One of his favorite things is wearing pajamas and snuggling in bed—he’s just as much of a cuddle bug as he is a goofball!

✨🐾 Warning: These little clouds of fluff may cause excessive squealing, uncontrollable cuddling, and the overwhelming urge to take one (or two… or three) home.

Our newest arrivals are so sweet and snuggly you’ll want to squeeze them all day—and they won’t mind one bit. These adorable “rez babies” are the ultimate Heinz 57 mix, with a little bit of everything wonderful—maybe some Golden, Shepherd, Aussie, Cattle Dog… honestly, your guess is as good as ours, and every guess just makes them cuter.

They’ll be making their big debut this Sunday at our adoption event at PetSmart (Desert Ridge) from 12–3 PM. Come meet them, get buried in puppy kisses, and maybe find your next best friend.

Meet Sadie – Your New Adventure Buddy! 🌸🐾

Sadie is a young, sweet-natured pup with a heart full of love and a brain that’s just as impressive! This smart girl has fully recovered from her spay surgery and is officially ready to find her forever family.

Sadie is already potty trained, knows basic commands like “sit” and “down,” and even lets you know when it’s time to go out by waiting by the door. She’s been thriving in her foster home where she enjoys playtime with her foster siblings, learning good habits, and going on fun little adventures.

She’s a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and adores people. Sadie walks like a pro on leash during her nightly strolls and is perfectly content hanging out in her kennel when needed. She’s even spent time at a local gym—proving she’s ready to tag along wherever life takes you!

Hi, I’m Juliet Eliza Doolittle. I was only supposed to stay with my mom a little while before finding a family, but I was a little too crazy and needed to settle down so I didn’t end up in more bad situations. I was only a year and two months old when she rescued me and now I’m just 2 and a half.

My mom thinks I had been abused physically, may have lived in a breeder home initially and that right before she took me home, I spent all of my time in a crate. I don’t like small spaces and need to be free. I love exploring the backyard, and even when I’m inside taking a nap, sometimes I have my nose out the dog door.

I’m looking for a new best friend or two. I am so loving I have enough love for a whole family. I’ll lick your tears when you’re sad, and when you’re anxious I’ll stay right by your side and put my head on your shoulder. I’m a bit too much for small humans and knock them down because I just want to say hi and make friends. I could be a great hiking dog once you teach me manners on a leash.

I like having another dog to play with, but I don’t want to share my only human with another dog. That’s why I’m looking for a new best friend to love. I don’t like the deaf dog my mom brought home after me, and I go after her any chance I get. I like Charlie who was here when I got here and he gets to be king and I’m submissive with him.

I would be great as an only dog if you have a dog door and a fenced yard because there’s just so much world to explore and so many people to make friends with. If there’s not a fence I’d go off to explore and make new friends, so you have to have a fenced yard. Human friends are my favorite. If you have a home with two people and another dog, that would probably be okay, but remember, I have some resource guarding issues with my human, and once with a really good treat.

I don’t know if I like cats or not because I haven’t come across one. I brought a dead bird inside and had it in my dog bed with me. Whoops.
Did I tell you I love shoes? The stinkier the better! I don’t always chew on them, I often just take one outside. Sometimes I hide one in my treasure spot in the backyard. And sometimes I leave bite marks. I prefer my stuffed animals and toys, but sometimes when shoes are laying everywhere I cannot resist the temptation of a good shoe to chew.
I take treats gently. I eat good food (Science Diet)and I get so excited, I spin around right before you give it to me.
I’m really smart! If you take time to train me, I’ll learn. I am food motivated, but praise goes a long way with me and I can learn things even without food reward. It’s your job to be consistent though because if you’re not, neither am I. I would like to sleep on your bed with you so you know you’re never alone. If you sneeze loudly, I will crinkle my forehead with concern and inspect your face to make sure you’re OK. That’s the kind of girl I am.

Meet Danner – the Mighty Mini Marvel 🐾

At just 10 weeks old, Danner may be the smallest of his litter, but his heart is anything but tiny. With big guardian energy packed into a pint-sized frame, this little guy is full of courage, charm, and cuddles.

Danner came to us at only 3 weeks old with a broken back leg and strangles, but he’s been a fighter from day one. As he’s grown, he’s learned to use his injured leg by buckling it under himself. While amputation might be a possibility in the future, the orthopedic specialist currently doesn’t see a need. If that changes, the rescue will cover the surgery through our vet—no worries there.

He’s great with people, kids, dogs, and even cats. Danner loves snuggling, car rides, and chasing after toys—especially if a kid or another pet is already playing with them. He’s still trying to master the doggy door, but he’s getting close!

Danner is sweet, spirited, and full of love. He’s looking for a special forever home that sees the warrior and snuggle-bug he is. Could it be yours?

We find them great forever homes and in case it doesn't work out, we take the dogs back and find them another loving home. We offer 80% refunds on adoption fees up to 72 hours after the adoption. We also offer assistance to help find free or reasonable spay and neuter for owned pets.
