Ricky’s Rascals Animal Rescue & Wholesome Petz Pet Supplies is HIRING!
We are a proud family-owned, conservative Christian business serving the Marengo community for 12 years with over 14,000 sq. ft. of pet supplies for dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, and small animals, plus our onsite 501(c)(3) animal rescue saving lives every day.

🐶 We’re Looking For:
Energetic, positive, customer friendly individuals
Part-time position available immediately (with potential for full-time)
Must be punctual, dependable, and trustworthy. This position IS NOT open for High School Students
✅ Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Must have a valid driver’s license & car insurance (we offer customer deliveries)
Must submit to a background check
Must follow safety and sanitation protocols
Must be comfortable handling and caring for a wide variety of animals, including:
🐾 Dogs & Cats
🦎 Reptiles (snakes up to 20 ft, monitors, bearded dragons, geckos, etc.)
🐭 Feeders & Insects (mice, rats, crickets, roaches, worms)
🕷️ Tarantulas & exotics
🐠 Fish & aquatic species
👉 You MUST NOT be afraid of animals — big or small!
📚 Additional Expectations:
Willingness to learn pet nutrition and species care
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passion for helping animals and serving customers
💵 Pay & Schedule:
Pay: Based on experience
Hours: Part-time (8 hours per day, 3-4 days per week)
Additional hours available as needed
