Every moment is a gift... We laid to rest our dear, sweet Angel today. Some horses just have that extra special, gentle soul and kind eyes. She did. She lived a long life full of adventures and she used her peaceful heart to bless many children, including my four-legged baby. Kendle was uncertain about goodbye but she was tender and genuine, much as Angel was to her, they were always together 😞. No matter how painful or long, or hard the end is, Angel deserved every ounce of love and life she was given and we are glad she now has her real wings.

Is it really Summer?

Do you know the significance of the number 9Today my sweet Kendle turns 9 months old, and today we laid to rest one of our dear horses Copper.
Though I have known that big red boy many years, he has only been with us for 6 months. In fact, his transition to Sweet Dreams Farm began with Kendle's birth.
Her name, Kendleigha'Z Dawn, means a new beginning, out if the valley of the storm. With her new beginning, came a new beginning for Copper and one of my young students. And as we celebrate and grieve I am given hope and comfort. The number 9 means divine completeness or finality, harvest, fruitfulness, hidden good. As Kendle comes into her 9th month, Copper has been granted his divine completeness, yet there are still blessings to be revealed. I am ever in awe of God's sovereignty in the midst of confusing and trying circumstances. Go in Peace, Copper ❤️😓

Kendleigha is now 1 month old!!! And she will be greeting visitors at our "Open Horse" Days hosted at Sweet Dreams Farm. We'll be giving tours, having hands-on horse time, and walking families through our various program options for students and families. Some programs to look for are our After School Team, The Visionary Journey Leadership Formation Team, The Victory's Gait Homeschool/hybrid team, lessons, horse sponsorship and sooooo much more! We have openings the week of August 15th for visitors, including Saturday.
