It's that time of year again! The first round of seeds have been started!
Have you always wanted to get some of your favorite vegetables started earlier so that you can enjoy the harvests sooner and more often, but you struggle to find the space or the time to care for the seedlings? Let me help you out!
I have several delicious and fun varieties that I'd be happy to get started for you, so that you can transplant them into your own garden or container once the risk of frost has passed!
Many of these seeds are Organic or Heirloom varieties, and I have marked them as such. I also use certified organic potting soil for both germinating and up-potting, so you can rest easy if you want to continue using organic practices.
All of the below varieties will be ready for pick up or delivery in the Mankato area around May 10th. I will begin to harden them off starting May 1st, so they will be ready for transplant with a high success rate. If you would like to stagger harvests, I will be happy to start others in two to four week intervals! All of these will be in 4" square pots at this time to ensure that the starters don't become rootbound before you can transplant them!
Each starter plant is a flat $5 or get any 6 for $25. Since this is my first year offering starter plants as well, I will include a variety of flowering ground cover seeds for free with each order of 6 vegetable starters. Great for bringing a little color to your yard, especially in an area you hate to mow!
All the available varieties are listed below. Some are more limited than others, but I will do my best to fulfill all the orders I possibly can.
Determinate tomatoes typically grow a bit more bushy and produce one large harvest, while Indeterminate varieties will continue to grow and produce several smaller harvests.

I am able to start a variety of melon, pumpkin, and squash plants for you as well. As these require quite a bit more room to grow, I'm expecting less interest. Please feel free to ask about the available varieties and pricing if you would like to grow any though!
Thank you in advance for your support as every dollar helps me expand my ability to grow even more next year!
