Our fifth puppy to fly the coop was the handsome and playful Chili Powder! Natasha VanDusen flew into MCI to pick up Chili and take him back to Alaska with her this past Sunday. I am thrilled for the both of them and as hard as having 3 of the babies leave in 3 days was, I had such peace about the placement decision I made for Chili. Natasha has made it well known how loved her new buddy is already and has goals in trialing him in obedience and rally. She has decided his call name will be Aegon.

Our trip to Lexington was also the perfect opportunity to unite Cinnamon with his new people. Cinnamon (now known as “Knox”) was the firstborn puppy from the litter and has always had a larger than life personality and presence. Allison and Lance DeLong are among the kindest people I have gotten to know over the years and it was fabulous to finally meet Allison (and her sister Laura) in person! Knox will be a well loved pet and Allison and Lance’s chance to get their feet wet in the dog show world. Knox evaluated high as a show prospect and will be co-owned by Dockside and the DeLongs! He will also grow up alongside Titus’ littermate brother, Ruckus, and the DeLongs other Australian Shepherd, Meredith. Great things ahead!
