🚨 Heat Warning Alert 🚨

We’re officially in severe weather territory with this summer heat, and it’s not just uncomfortable — it can be dangerous for our four-legged friends. ☀️🐾

🌡️ Hot pavement can burn your dog’s paws in seconds. If it’s too hot for your bare feet, it’s too hot for theirs! On a 90°F day, pavement can reach 140°F — hot enough to cause blisters and burns.

Protect your pup:
✔️ Walk early morning or after sunset
✔️ Stick to grass or shaded paths
✔️ Do the 7-second test: place the back of your hand on the pavement — if it’s too hot to hold, it’s too hot to walk
✔️ Consider booties for paw protection
