🐾 GROOMING CLIENTS ONLY 🐾

This is a post I have been absolutely dreading to make AND I have put it off to the very last second. 🫣

Yes, I have been on vacation for the past two weeks. My husband and I traveled to Alaska with some close family and friends, and it truly was the trip of a lifetime.

Before I left, I already knew my dad had a very risky surgery scheduled shortly after I returned. The surgery was originally expected to last 8–9 hours on Thursday, and I had planned my schedule around it so I could be there. My hope was that, if everything went well, I would only need to be off Thursday and would be back to work on Monday.

Unfortunately, things have changed.

The surgery is now expected to take approximately 16 hours, split over two separate days. At this point, we’re not sure if the second procedure will take place Saturday or Sunday.

I know I have a lot of messages waiting in my inbox, and I want everyone to know that I am not ignoring you. I realize many of you have been waiting to hear back from me, and I sincerely appreciate your patience. Between returning home and preparing for my dad’s surgery, I’ve had to put everything else on the back burner until I could focus on it.

As of right now, I am keeping my schedule as planned, with the exception of Wednesday. Our family will be spending that day together so I can be with my dad before this major surgery. If all goes as planned, this procedure has the potential to give him a second chance at living a normal life again, and being there for him is something I simply can’t miss.

I am very hopeful that next week will continue as scheduled and that I’ll be able to take care of everyone I’ve promised to get in. I will also be working through my messages and reaching out to those who have been waiting to hear from me.

If you absolutely cannot wait any longer, I completely understand. I have several wonderful groomers I can recommend. Family has to come first in moments like this, BUT I truly hope we won’t miss a beat with the schedule. I just won’t know for certain until we get through this weekend.

There has been SO much going on lately that I feel like I haven’t had time to breathe! 😅 This is going to be a LONG post, so buckle up—especially if you have an upcoming boarding appointment!

Today I groomed my last dog until August 1st! 🎉 I’ll be spending the next few days getting everyone’s schedules organized and making sure everything is in place before I leave. I’ve already spoken with most of my scheduled grooming clients about the situation, but I wanted to make one post for everyone.

Normally, I take two weeks off around the Fourth of July to camp at the lake with my family, but that didn’t happen this year. Instead, we celebrated right here at our own little redneck paradise! ❤️

Next week, my husband and I will be heading to Alaska for a much-needed vacation. Before anyone worries—nothing about your dog’s care will change! We have an amazing team, and everything will continue to run just like it always does.

🐾 Meet the crew keeping The Hill running while I’m away:
❤️ Renee Dezarn will be here from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM each morning for breakfast, morning drop-offs, and morning pick-ups.
💙 Olivia Hubbard will be handling all evening pick-ups.
💚 Carli Cole will be in and out throughout the day, giving everyone plenty of playtime, potty breaks, and lots of love.
💜 Briley will also be stopping in throughout the day to spoil your babies with extra attention and cuddles.
These are the same people your pups already know and love! They’re with your dogs regularly, and together they’re the tribe that keeps The Hill running. ❤️

Boarding Hours
Morning drop-off/pick-up:�🕙 10:00 AM–12:00 PM (this time is set in stone, so please be respectful of their schedule).

We will also continue offering evening pick-ups for those returning later in the day. Please contact Olivia to arrange your evening pickup if needed.

Boarding Availability
We are currently completely booked through July 23rd and have no boarding vacancies until July 24th.

Grooming Schedule
I have no grooming appointments available until the second week of August, and those first two weeks are already full.

While I’m away, I will not be responding to grooming messages until after July 24th. Please do not contact Olivia or Renee with grooming questions or appointment requests—they do not handle the grooming schedule. I personally manage all grooming appointments and will get back to everyone when I return.

I will still be here this weekend, so if you’re picking up or dropping off before Monday, please continue communicating with me. Beginning Monday morning, please use the following contacts:

Happy Fourth of July, everyone!
We’ll be spending time celebrating the holiday with our family, so I will not be responding to messages regarding the dogs for the remainder of the day.
Rest assured that everyone is doing great! All of our babies are safe, happy, and staying cool. We will not be setting off any fireworks here, and we’ll have Alexa playing music to help keep everyone calm in case our neighbors decide to celebrate with fireworks.
Tomorrow’s pickup time will be 12:30 PM. If anything changes, I will reach out to you directly.

Ya girl has about been whooped tho 🫣 you talk about work!! We have worked our butts off giving these babies all the attention in the world all whilst being short a worker and also grooming throughout the day! Trying to make sure everyone gets pictures of their babies having a good time… making sure everyone gets the right meds at the right time… I am very sorry to those I had to turn away. We love them all but it’s just not possible to accommodate them all at the same time and be able to divide our attention!

With that being said I have had countless messages about grooming and boarding… I will be answering those messages today and tomorrow evening. We’re going to try and get everyone taken care of and hope to miss nobody. I know there’s a few in July I have spoken with but haven’t gotten booked, if you see this post, shoot me a message because I’ve been half brain dead taking care of these guys 🤣 if you recieved your initial booking text you don’t have to message me, your already on the book! Thank you for another great month of June! Now let’s try to get everyone in and groomed and make sure we don’t miss anyone that’s boarding!
