🚨❤️ ALL HANDS ON DECK ❤️🚨

⏰ 32 dogs must leave by Monday, July 21 at 6:00 PM.

This is one of those weeks when we truly need our entire community.

Thirty-two dogs are now on the urgent list—not because of behavior or medical concerns, but simply because the shelter is out of space.

We haven't seen a list this large since March, and overcrowding has been a constant challenge ever since. Every kennel matters right now.

As we work to gather photos, notes, videos, and more information on each dog over the coming days, please don't wait to help.

If you've been thinking about adding a dog to your family, we encourage you to adopt directly from the shelter or consider one of the wonderful dogs already in rescue.

Many rescue dogs are living in foster homes, so their rescuers can often tell you if they're good with kids, cats, other dogs, house-trained, and more. Every time a rescue dog is adopted, it opens a foster home or kennel that can be used to save one of these urgent shelter dogs.

Every adoption creates another opportunity to save a life.

Update 7/-5 at 11 AM - Ace will be safe with Lovepaws! I haven’t heard anything about Philly.

🆘Philly and Ace are on borrowed time / overdue!🆘

These sweet boys must be tagged by rescue by 11 AM and leave the shelter today - sadly, the shelter is way over capacity.

🐾Philly is an absolute sweetheart with humans. He loves his stuffed alligator toy. He is looking for a home without other dogs.

🐾 Ace is a volunteer favorite, who was pending adoption right up until the deadline. Unfortunately, since that didn’t work out, he’s left without a plan and we’re scrambling. Lovepaws was looking for a foster to try and help save his life.
