The holiday feast is fun for us—but can be risky for your pups. Keep your furry friends safe by avoiding table scraps, especially fatty foods, bones, chocolate, xylitol, and anything with onions, grapes, or raisins. Stick to pet-safe treats only!

Secure trash so curious noses can’t reach turkey bones or leftovers. Keep pets away from toxic plants and decorations that could be swallowed.

If you’re hosting, make sure your pets have a safe, quiet, and secure space where they can relax away from guests. A spare room, crate, or cozy corner can help reduce stress and prevent accidental escapes. And always double-check that your pet has proper ID and an updated microchip—holiday door traffic makes sneaking out easier!

Remember last week when we had the opportunity to donate 100 martingale collars to the Prince William County Animal Services Bureau? Well this week we wanted to show off, Ellie. She is one of the sweet pups now sporting one of the donated collars — a gift that helps keep her safe and secure on every walk while she waits for her forever family. 🦮

Training in old town today! One of our favorite spots for sooo many reasons. We are able to work on so much with the time we have. These 2 pups have come such a long way, we are so proud of their progress and their owners commitment. ❤️🐾

We’re proud to share that Peace of Mind K9 donated 100 martingale collars to the Prince William County Animal Shelter, this week! 🎉

These collars will help keep shelter pups safe and secure while they wait for their forever homes. 🐶💖

For months, dedicated volunteers have been using their own money to buy and donate collars — and we’re honored to help support their incredible efforts. 🙌
