After many years with Sit Means Sit, I wanted to let everyone know that I am no longer affiliated with the franchise.

I’m incredibly thankful for the experience, relationships, and all of the dogs and owners I’ve had the opportunity to work with over the years. This next chapter allows me to continue doing what I love most — helping dogs and their owners build better communication, structure, confidence, and real-life results.

This sweet puppy from St. Thomas is looking for a foster home starting Monday. We know it’s Mother’s Day weekend and schedules are busy, but we’re hoping someone can open their heart and home to help this little guy take the next step toward a safe, loving future.

Even a temporary foster can make a huge difference.

This is something I’ve been working on behind the scenes… and I’m excited to finally share it. 🐾

I’ll be hosting a community dog training seminar at The Farm Brewery on April 26th from 2–5 PM.

Raising a Well-Mannered Dog is designed to give you real clarity on:

• Puppy foundations
• Adolescent behavior (the stage most people struggle with)
• Structure and communication in your home
• The path to AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy & Canine Good Citizen (CGC)

We’re also bringing in some great local businesses and will have:

• Grooming tips & demos
• Pet waste service spotlight
• Adoptable pups on site from Furever Haven 🐾
• Prize drawings with proceeds supporting rescue efforts

This is a relaxed, educational event — not a sales pitch — and it’s built to actually help you understand your dog and what to do next.

Storms rolling in with high winds and possible tornado activity tomorrow. ⛈️🌪️

Just a reminder to make sure your are secure — bring them inside, double check gates, and keep collars with ID tags on. High winds and loud storms can easily spook even the most confident dogs.

Training helps build confidence, but safety always comes first. Stay safe out there! 🐾

Marshall isn’t just learning to go into the dog park — he’s learning to wait for direction, respect thresholds, and enter calmly instead of rushing through the gate. That kind of self-control carries over into everyday life at home and out in the world. 🐾

One of the best parts of my job is seeing the joy when a dog goes home. Look at her smile! 🥰🐾

Pumpkin’s family welcomed her back with this sweet sign — and she showed them an important command she learned.

A simple command that brings structure, calm, and clarity into the home.

And as you can see… place can truly be anywhere!
