Introducing Nessie (aka Loch Ness Monster)
Please read thoroughly.
Nessie is a 12 week old Shiba Inu. She is probably the smartest puppy we’ve had. It’s hard to put this tiny but mighty girl into words. Especially if you’re trying to describe her to her perfect family! Nessie is extremely intelligent and confident in the real world. She is totally independent - she loves exploring and spending lots of time outside. In true Shiba fashion, she does not like being man handled. She thinks it’s very demeaning to be picked up and forced into the arms of any human - but she doesn’t mind curling up on your lap on her terms. She is feisty and persistent playing with other dogs and will absolutely pummel cats. Nessie is fully potty trained, crate trained and knows her name. She enjoys car rides and has already been on camping trips. She thinks being tethered means death and will scream like a hyena… same with taking a bath.
We know Shiba Inus can be desirable just by their immense cuteness, however we are not in any hurry to move her along. We will be taking our time with applications and even meeting several families until we find the perfect one.
