To inform our valued clients and community, we will be closing today, March 16, 2026, at 2 p.m. due to the inclement weather conditions. The safety of our staff, clients, and animals is our top priority, so we have made this decision to ensure everyone can stay indoors and remain safe during the upcoming storm. We hope everyone stays warm and dry and remains safe during this period of severe weather.

We want to inform our valued clients that Dr. Dan will be taking a well-deserved break and will be out of the office for the next two weeks, starting today! During this time, please be patient with us as he will be unable to respond to phone calls or email inquiries. He is scheduled to return to the clinic on March 16th. In the meantime, rest assured that we have a fantastic relief veterinarian, Dr. Fox, who is a close friend of Dr. Dan's, available to see all of our pre-scheduled appointments and provide the same excellent care you expect from us. Dr. Fox is very excited to be visiting Wallace and meeting everyone! We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming Dr. Dan back soon! 🦊

Happy World Spay Day! 🩺
🐶Dr. Dan does recommend getting your pets fixed if not planning to breed - we do see in our clinic some pyometras and mammary masses and testicular cancers which may have been prevented by getting spayed or neutered! 🐱 We keep costs as low as we can to try and make this service affordable! 😄

🦷Sometimes, your pet just needs a dental cleaning under anesthesia. 🩺
😸But to try and prevent needing one and to maintain after cleaning, here's some ideas from our team to you to help maintain your dog's dental health:
-Dr. Dan uses Plaque-off (a seaweed-based food additive) for his pup currently
-Tracheas, bully sticks, & Himalayan yak cheese chews 🧀
-Dental chews sold in pet stores
-For cats: dental toys are sold that are designed to clean teeth while they play!
-And of course, manually brushing your pet's teeth! ✨
ALWAYS monitor your pet when giving new chews & treats!

We have partnered with Embark to bring genetic health & breed testing to our clinic! This can be useful for mixed breeds and pure breeds to zone in on genetic health markers in their DNA. And of course, finding out what your exact breed markup is on some of our lovely mixed pups! 🐾🧬
