Today was special.

The last pup from our Nala x Ghost litter went home to the incredible Ramirez family ❤️

Even just a few hours later, we’re sitting here grateful… and honestly, a little emotional.

This litter meant more than just great bloodlines, structure, and quality.
This was Nala’s legacy.

Every sleepless night, every long drive for supplies during the freeze, every vet visit… it was all poured into these pups. And we didn’t just place them anywhere — we were intentional. We said no to homes that didn’t feel right… so we could say yes to the ones that did.

This one felt right.

The Ramirez family didn’t just get a dog… they got a piece of something we’ll carry forever.

And while this chapter closes, we’re not done.

Nala may be gone, but what she helped build lives on.
We still have GYDA and ELLA, and we’re excited for what’s ahead — continuing to produce strong, healthy, well-tempered Corsos placed into the right homes.

Two days before Nala gave birth.

She always wanted her snuggles. Always found her way into my lap, like that’s where she belonged. And honestly… that’s where my heart still expects her to be.

Losing her has shattered me. The house will be quieter and have less drool. My body will still look for her weight, her warmth, her presence. She wasn’t “just a dog.” She was a gift entrusted to us for a season—and she loved fiercely, loyally, and fully.

Scripture tells us that all of creation matters to God.

“The righteous care for the needs of their animals.” — Proverbs 12:10

“Not one sparrow falls to the ground apart from your Father.” — Matthew 10:29

“For the creation itself will be set free from its bo***ge to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.” — Romans 8:21

The Bible doesn’t say everything we wish it did—but it says enough to give hope. Enough to remind us that heaven is not smaller than earth, but greater. Not a place of loss, but of restoration.

If God notices the sparrow…
If creation itself is promised renewal…
If eternity is marked by reunion and joy…

Then I trust that nothing truly good is lost forever.

Today, my heart holds onto this hope:
that the God who gave me Nala,
the God who knit her into our family,
the God who cares deeply for all He has made—is not finished with the story yet.

And if eternity is as full and redeemed as Scripture promises, then I believe there will be a day when love recognizes love again.

Thank you for every snuggle, every quiet moment, every ounce of joy.
Until then—we carry you with us. I hold out hope to reunite with you at some point in eternity.

Purple collar. Chosen. Loved. Forever ours.

This was Nala when she was still with the breeder—the purple collar girl. From the very beginning, she stood out to us, and we knew she was meant to be part of our family.

Nala was strong, gentle, loyal, and full of quiet courage. She gave us so much joy, so much love, and in her final act, she gave us something even greater—her legacy. Tragically, after complications following her litter, we had to say goodbye far too soon. Our hearts are shattered, and the loss is deep.

But Nala’s story doesn’t end here.

She has left behind her beautiful puppies, and we are committed to honoring her by caring for them with everything we have. We are bottle-feeding, praying over, and loving each one, believing they will grow strong and find forever homes with families who will cherish them as deeply as we cherished their mama.

Run free, sweet girl.
You were more than a dog—you were family.
Your legacy lives on in every little life you brought into this world, and in the hearts you changed forever. 🐾💜
