Our mission is to provide for and continuously improve the health, happiness and fortunes of the homeless and abandoned cats and dogs in Monroe County. We are a passionate non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of abandoned and homeless pets in Monroe County through rescue, reh

abilitation, and rehoming efforts. Our work is centered around the Eastbourne Animal Center, where we provide shelter and medical care to animals in need. At MCFA, we believe that every animal deserves a loving home and a second chance. Our mission extends beyond providing immediate care; we also focus on community education about responsible pet ownership and the importance of spaying and neutering to prevent pet overpopulation. Take me 🏡Home Tuesdays, Boys are Salty🧂 and Pepper🌶 !!

🖤🖤These two sweet babies were found after being thrown away and trying to survive on their own!!! They are both sweet and love each other so much. They can be Adopted separately.

Salty🧂and Pepper🌶 are both one year old, and around fifty pounds each. They have a super sweet disposition and will complete a family!!

💚Bon Chance was recently adopted and returned due to medical reasons and no fault of her own!! She is a 5 year old sweet kitty.

💚Bon Chance loves Bird 🐦 watching, and long naps!! She would be the purrfect layed back kitty!!

We did end up changing his name from Kanga to Albert Whisker, and he’s such a happy little guy. He has plenty of toys to keep him entertained and loves playing with them. He’s incredibly friendly, sweet, and gets along wonderfully with everyone. He is a very good lap cat and spends a lot of time playing with Sheva (Roo). His only issues is playing in his water bowl and loving to knock things off our shelves lol. But everyone loves him, he's an absolute joy. 🫶Thank you for adopting and for the Update!!

✅️Our longest Resident is Maverick🩵 that is currently with our Training Partner Homefront Canines...thank you!!

Here is a note 💌 from her Family!!

🩷We wanted to share a little update on Luna.
She was a little shy during her first few days, but she has really opened up and shown us so much of her sweet, curious personality. Luna loves having zoomies, playing with her rope toy, going for car rides, getting all the pets and belly rubs, and—of course—sniffing around for as long as we’ll let her! She is also such a happy girl and loves to smile.
She knows how to sit and shake very well, and she gets especially excited when people come to visit. Her nickname is now Luna Bug, or just Bug.
Luna has brought so much joy and excitement into our lives. We love coming home to her tail wags and kisses every day. She gets lots of love, treats, and spoiled-rotten attention.
We are so grateful to the shelter and to her foster family for taking such good care of our girl until we were able to adopt her and give her the furever home she deserves. We truly feel like she found us. We’re attaching some photos and videos so you can see how loved and happy Luna Bug is! 💛
