Happy Halloween from the spooktacular crew at Georgia Safari to you! 🎃

As you prepare to pass out candy tonight, consider selecting candy made with certified sustainable palm oil. Palm oil is a leading cause of deforestation and habitat loss for many of our Georgia Safari residents, including sloths and rhinos.

After you've enjoyed your sweet treats, be sure to recycle any paper or plastic waste. Keeping these small adjustments to our daily routines in mind help make the holiday full of tricks and fun for us, while keeping it a treat to our world and wildlife!

This weekend is the big game, and the Rhino boys have some strong feelings about it! 🏈

Akagera wholeheartedly believes that the Gators are going to take the win (don't judge him for his feelings), while Mo-Joe believes that the Dawgs have a chance. One is bound to be right, and we can't wait to see whose prediction comes true!

Who are you rooting for this weekend? Let us know in the comments!

Here's your daily boop from our Asian Water Buffalo! 🥰

Did you know that Asian Water Buffalo are nicknamed "The Living Tractors of the East?" In Asia, they are known to pull plows for farming and transport. Their wide, curved horns and powerful build also make them well-suited for both labor and wetland environments!
