We had a paw-some time this weekend supporting Fetch Wisconsin Rescue at their Fetch 5K & Fun Run! 🐾

It was a joy to connect with new friends, see some familiar faces, hand out plenty of belly rubs, and, of course, spend time with some of the sweetest pups looking for their forever homes. 🐶💕

Huge congratulations to Fetch on a successful and heartwarming event! Thank you for all the incredible work you do to help pets find the loving homes they deserve. 💙

🎉 Clovis Buttercup is HOME! 🐾💕

Yesterday we shared the heartwarming video of sweet Clovis Buttercup leaving the hospital after 9 days of intensive treatment for smoke inhalation (if you missed it, go check it out). 💛

Today, we’re sharing the photos from that incredibly happy day earlier this week, and trust us, they’re guaranteed to make you smile.

Clovis was rescued from a devastating house fire by brave firefighters, she was blue from lack of oxygen when they pulled her out. Thanks to their quick actions, she began breathing again and was rushed to our emergency department. Over 9 long days, she received oxygen support, intensive care, and nonstop love from our team… and she fought so hard to recover.

And she did it. 💪🐶

The joy in these photos says it all, from the smiles of our team, her family, and of course, Clovis Buttercup as she sat in her seat ready to head home (we only wish you could hear the excited barks of her housemate, Butter, waiting to welcome her home). 🐕💕

Congratulations, Clovis Buttercup... you are one incredibly strong girl, and we’re SO happy you’re home. 💛🐾

After 9 days of hospitalization for smoke inhalation, we were absolutely THRILLED to celebrate Clovis Buttercup’s going home! 💛

When Clovis Buttercup was rescued from a devastating house fire by firefighters, she was blue from lack of oxygen. Thanks to their quick actions, she improved, but was still critical. She was transported to our emergency department where she received intensive treatment and oxygen support, and lots of care and fought her way back.

And this week… the best moment of all: Clovis Buttercup finally got to go home! 🎉 Nobody could contain their joy, especially her housemate, Butter, whose happy barks of excitement could be heard echoing through the hospital. 🐾💙

Help us celebrate Clovis Buttercup’s incredible recovery and send a HUGE congrats to her and her family! ✨

What a Saturday! 🎉 We had an absolute BLAST at AprilAire’s Healthy Air Fair at McPike Park! 🫶

Live music, delicious eats, new friends, and familiar faces made for the perfect day. 🌞🎶🍔

We were also on hand providing pet first aid (and we’re happy to report no pups needed our help! 🐾💙).

When every second counts, teamwork matters. 🐾

It was all hands on deck when sweet Melissa came to our emergency department last week after many hours of labor with no progression (otherwise known as dystocia). Our team discovered one puppy was stuck in the birth canal, and she needed emergency surgery to safely deliver the rest of her litter.

Board certified surgeon, Dr. Kierski and our incredible team sprang into action, safely delivering the puppies, clearing their airways, tying their umbilical cords, checking vitals, and warming them up in the incubator.

Once Melissa was awake from surgery, our team made sure she and her 8 healthy puppies were comfortable, helping the little ones latch on and snuggle in with their mom. 💕

We’re thrilled to share that Melissa and her puppies are now home and doing great! 🐶✨ Congratulations, Melissa!

Sometimes the best medicine is a snuggle. 💕
T.J., one of our incredible certified veterinary technicians, made sure our oncology patient Ozzie got exactly that during his recent visit.

Ozzie is in remission from lymphoma (yay! 🎉) but visited our hospital after developing diarrhea and vomiting. With a little supportive care, and a lot of love, he’s now feeling so much better. 🐾

Here’s to health, healing, and the power of a good cuddle. ❤️
