Dear fellow dog lovers,
It is with a heavy heart that I have made the difficult decision to downsize my breeding program. When I first started breeding dogs, I was fully committed to the endeavor, pouring my heart and soul into every aspect of it. However, life has a way of surprising us, and my family's circumstances have changed in ways I never could have anticipated.
As many of you know my son has been diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder, and as a result, our lives have been forever altered. While we are grateful for the medical advancements and support available to us, it has become clear that my son will require a service dog to assist him in the future. In fact, we are expecting to welcome a new service dog into our family in 2026, and I am eager to begin preparing for the significant time commitment and training that this will entail.
As I shift my focus to my son's needs and well-being, I have come to realize that my current breeding program is no longer sustainable for me. My dogs, as lovely as they are, have not been trained with the specific demeanor and temperament required for a service dog. Investing the time, money, and resources necessary to train them to the level required for a service dog would be impractical and unfair to the dogs themselves.
Therefore, I have made the painful decision to rehome some of my beloved dogs to families who can provide them with the love, care, and attention they deserve. I am seeking new homes for 3 of my dogs, who are 2 bernadoodles and poodle. These dogs have been genetically tested, UTD vaccines.
If you are interested in providing a forever home to one of my dogs, please know that I am committed to finding the best possible match for each of them. I will be prioritizing homes that can offer a stable, loving environment, and where the dog will be a cherished member of the family.
I want to thank you in advance for considering giving one of my dogs a second chance at a happy life. Your love and support will mean the world to me and my family as we navigate this new chapter in our lives.
Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or would like to learn more about the rehoming process.
Sincerely,
Jess
