Hi Everyone! I’m so happy to share this exciting journey with you all!
A little about me, I am a wife, mother, bonus mom, avid Harry Potter fan(hence the name) and an Army Veteran.
When I first got out the military I struggled to find my place, I hate to sound like a stereotype but adapting to civilian life was not an easy transition for me. I found my peace in working with animals, first as a vet tech, then as a groomers assistant and finally as a groomer. I have been grooming for about 8 years and most of those were working in veterinary or corporate grooming environments. I even moved up to managing corporate grooming salons. I love going to work every day and I love what I do. Like any person though, I wanted a bit more, something of my own, something that I could control and tweak and adjust to fix the few things that I found lacking in the big pet store grooming enviroments.
Doing this, building this dream has involved every member of my family and several friends working together and offering thoughts and ideas. From the name, to the design and function it has been a family affair.
Because I am a home based business, I am able to offer one on one interaction, build pets confidence and trust in the grooming practice in a place that is calm and welcoming, instead of a conveyor belt, rushed process. I have found that this makes the entire experience a much happier one for the pets, pet parents like me who’s pets are their babies, and for myself (I get to sneak in some snuggles 🥰 )
