Headshakers, head shaking syndrome, trigeminal neuralgia. There are 12 cranial nerves in your horses head. We put bridles, halters, bits, etc on them. Now let's add your horse gets a dental and a few weeks later they're shaking their head or are spooky or pulling back which isn't like them. Think about their jaw being open and their head tilted back. Their cranial nerves may have some inflammation. Or your horse pulled back and now they're spooking and head shy. There is a small narrowing for the rigeminal nerve and an artery or a vein can be compressed causing inflammation in the trigeminal nerve. Even the smallest thing such as the wind blowing or sunlight causes what seems like head ticks/shaking. A combination of structural boost along with nerve balance and a 10 day patch of equiwinner patches can help to heal and reduce the inflammation in the nerves and the body. Also a great choice for post EPM treatment.
