🚨My cat stopped using the litter box 🚨

🙀Why cats may stop using the litter box!

When a cat starts going outside the litter box, it's not out of spite. It's their way of telling us something is wrong. Here are the common reasons:

😾Medical Issues
Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
Bladder stones or crystals
Kidney disease
Arthritis or mobility pain
Digestive problems

🚨A VET VISIT IS ALWAYS THE FIRST STEP WHEN LITTER BOX HABITS CHANGE!!!

🙀 Stress and Anxiety
Cats are sensitive to change. Triggers can include:
Moving homes
New pets or people
Loud noises or construction
Changes in routines
Conflicts with other cat

📦Litter box problems
Box isn't cleaned often enough
Too few boxes ( rule of thumb is one per cat + one extra)
Box is too small or covered
Litter type or scent changes
Box placed in a noisy or hard-to-reach area
Aging and physical limitations

💖What can you do?
First schedule a vet check
Keep litter boxes clean and accessible
Reduce stress and provide safe places
NEVER punish - it makes the problem worse

Litter box issues are one of the top reasons cats are surrendered or worse just abandoned, but most cases are FIXABLE with patience and help. Don't give up there is help out there💖😻💖😻💖

Bring your pets inside!!! If it’s too cold for you it’s too cold for them.

❄️ Dangerously Cold Weather Coming – We Need Your Help ❄️

We’re expecting life-threatening cold temperatures later this week, and we’re asking for help from our community.

We are collecting extra dog crates that you no longer need. These crates will be used to:
🐾 Lend to people who want to do the right thing and bring their dogs inside
🐾 Help others safely contain dogs indoors during extreme cold

If you have a crate you can spare, please message us or a rescue or a local boots-on-the-ground animal advocate who may be able to collect and distribute crates to those in need.

We understand that some dogs have historically lived outdoors and that opinions differ. We’re not here to argue. We’re here to help prevent suffering and save lives.

And please remember: If you see something, say something.
A phone call or message could make all the difference and may help save a life.

Thank you for being part of the solution. 🐾❤️

🐾This is it...this is all we have left 🐾

Enough For today but tomorrow is uncertain.

This photo shows the last three bags of kitten dry food we have. We are still feeding over 60 kittens at the rescue and in Foster as well with more surely on the way.

We're sharing this not out of panic (well maybe a little), but out of honesty - our little village has always shown up when it matters most.. and today, we're hoping it will again.

If you're able to donate a bag of kitten food, you are directly feeding these babies and we are so grateful. If you're not in a position to donate, please hit share - that one click helps this reach somebody who might be able to.

We don't have a big audience, but our small village has saved the day before.
We don't get through these moments like this without you 🐾💕

Purina One healthy kitten (the blue bag) is needed the most! Pictures in comments.
