Meet Widow...aka Momma Kitty. She came to us a few months ago with a litter of kittens. She is not yet spayed, but is being scheduled. She needs a quiet home. She is super sweet and loves to be loved on. BUT...she does not like other cats, hyper dogs, and kids. She was living with a single elderly woman before she came to the Braswell Zoo and I think she may have had some trauma before that. If you think you can give her a less stressful home or know someone in need of a low energy companion, reach out! And share the post for others to see!

AL-TF1 has regained full operational capacity. Pursuant to a Florida EMAC request, AL-TF1 has been mobilized as a Type 3 team, comprising 60 personnel, augmented by AL-TF3 and Mobile County Communications District who are presently en route to aid in response and recovery endeavors following Hurricane Milton. AL-TF1 expresses gratitude for the City of Mobile administration's and State EMA office's support in honoring this interstate EMAC request.

*Update* Vet visit went well yesterday. She had another dose of meds and uv light therapy. Dr. Gill said that she is healing well enough to do surgery Thursday morning to amputate her tail! I am so excited. She has taken to playing with our kitten by playing pawsies (footsies) u der the bathroom door since she is isolated. She can't wait to be able to socialize.

Tomorrow is a big day! We go back to the vet in the morning first thing to see if she is healing enough to be able to am...
